Dane Nielsen – President/Agent
Property & Casualty, Crop
Dane purchased Heckert Insurance in 2005 which became Nielsen Insurance. In 2014 he expanded the company to Valentine, NE and in June of 2019, purchased the Tilden Insurance and Clearwater Insurance Agencies. Dane is licensed in multiple states, allowing him to better serve a wide range of clientele. Dane is married to Jennifer Blackburn-Nielsen and they have a son Cameron. Dane likes to spend his free time roping and going to their cabin on the Missouri River.

Abbi joined Nielsen Insurance in the fall of 2017. She was born and raised in Neligh where she graduated from Neligh-Oakdale High School in 2014 and attended college at University of Nebraska-Kearney. When she is not working, she enjoys watching movies, taking road trips, going camping and spending time with family & friends.
Luke Jacobsen – Customer Service Representative
Luke joined Nielsen Insurance in the Summer of 2021. He was born and raised in Neligh where he graduated from Neligh-Oakdale High School in 2017. He graduated from Northeast Community College in May of 2019. In his free time you can catch Luke watching anything Husker or Cubs related or spending time hanging out with family and friends.
Abby Delaney – Customer Service Representative
Abby joined Nielsen Insurance in 2013 with 5 years prior insurance experience. She graduated from Northeast Community College in 2009. Abby lives in O’Neill, NE with her fiancé, daughter and son. She enjoys spending time with family, anything outdoors, traveling, and DIY projects.
Wendy Flenniken – Agent

Wendy joined Nielsen Insurance in 2014. Wendy and her husband Ryan live near Clearwater with their two children, Bennet and Sloane, and their German Shepherd, named Duke. In their spare time you can find them at their cabin near Niobrara on the Missouri River where they like to go boating and sit around the fire with friends.
Debb Pofahl – Agent

Debb joined Nielsen Insurance in 2018 and has worked with crop insurance since 2001. Debb is married to Lee Pofahl. They have three children, Megan Allemang, Brittany Waldow and Levi Pofahl and have 5 grandchildren, Kaleb, Kanyon, Kendyll, Kyah and Oliver. Family is very important, and they love to spend time with them.

Mark has been a licensed agent since 1987. Over the years he has traveled to and helped clients in all 93 Nebraska counties. Since moving to Neligh in 2005, he now focuses all his efforts in and around Antelope County. Whatever health and life insurance needs you have, knowledgeable customer service and availability is what you can always expect from Mark.
